What’s on Stage

Here’s what’s at The Hall in 2026

Our Songwriters Workshop & Showcase is a four-week series built for writers who’ve already dipped a toe in—if you’ve written at least one song before and you’re looking for structure, feedback, and momentum, you’ll feel right at home. We’ll meet once a week for four weeks, working through the practical stuff that actually helps songs get finished: lyric clarity, stronger hooks, melody and phrasing, tightening structure, and making confident edits without sanding off the personality. Each session blends discussion, prompts, and share-back time, with the goal of helping you leave every week with something you can build on.

The Showcase happens one week after the final workshop, giving everyone a little breathing room to rehearse, polish, and get their nerves settled. It’s a low-pressure, supportive night where participants can share an original song (or a work-in-progress) on the Historic Memorial Hall stage. Think listening-room vibes and an audience that’s rooting for you. Whether you come with a half-finished idea or a nearly-ready song, you’ll leave with new tools, new connections, and a clearer path forward—plus a deadline that’s actually motivating in the best way.

1776 is a sharp, funny, and surprisingly moving musical that brings America’s founding debates to life—full of big personalities, high stakes, and songs that still land. Set in Philadelphia as the Declaration of Independence is being hammered out, the show follows John Adams as he tries to unite a divided room of delegates, each with their own priorities, egos, and grudges. What makes 1776 work isn’t just the history—it’s the humanity: the argument, the humor, and the sense that change is never simple, even when everyone agrees it’s necessary.

This production at Historic Memorial Hall is built for a live audience: clever writing, memorable music, and a story that feels both classic and current. Whether you know the show well or you’re seeing it for the first time, it’s a night of theatre that’s entertaining, thoughtful, and genuinely fun.

Rooted is a night built around the things that make this community feel like home: music, connection, and a little bit of celebration. Part album release, part birthday party, and part “let’s get everyone in the same room,” it’s an evening that’s meant to feel welcoming—like the kind of show where you recognize faces, meet new ones, and leave glad you came out.

Expect a set that leans into story-driven roots rock energy—songs with grit, heart, and enough lift to make the room feel alive. There will be moments that hit a little deeper, moments that are just plain fun, and plenty of space to breathe in between. If you’ve been to a show at Historic Memorial Hall before, you know the vibe: close, warm, and real. If it’s your first time, this is a great one to start with.

The Holiday Concert is back at The Hall—and if you’ve been in the Valley a while, you know why that matters. This has been one of those truly anticipated nights on the local calendar: the kind of event people talked about, planned around, and came to year after year. We’re bringing it back because it deserves to be part of the season again—something that feels familiar, welcoming, and shared.

Expect a festive, feel-good evening of live music in a warm room, with a mix of favorites and surprises that fits the moment. It’s not about being formal or perfect—it’s about being together, hearing great music, and letting the season land for a couple hours. The Hall is an intimate space, so you’re close to the performance no matter where you sit, and the energy in the room is a big part of what makes this night what it is.
